Call me crazy, but I’ve hung a clothesline. To my surprise, hanging the laundry brings quiet moments to our family, morning, noon and night. Taking the laundry in has the same lulling effect on the wee folk too. There is something magical in the simplicity and physicality of doing household work the old fashioned way. During these times, my little ones are often calmer and more focused in play. As a result, I feel peaceful and present in my life.

Love this photo!! Air drying is so much more natural. If I could, I would. Just watch for the rain!
